But all holidays end sooner or later, and students need to back to their homework, assignments, and lab reports.

It can be difficult to keep pace with the curriculum just after your holidays. If you relax for a long time and don’t visit your university for a few days or weeks, you get used to it. That is why returning to your usual tasks could be very hard and stressful, especially if you had great holidays.

Make a Schedule

During their holidays, students rarely plan their time and stick to some schedule. They usually do what they want and don’t think about scheduling and planning, but when studying at university, you have to be much more disciplined, that is why you should create daily and weekly schedules. Organize your activities, including different studying tasks, you schedule can be different, depending on the number of tasks and their complexity.

Spend More Time with Friends

Studying at university is not only about lessons, but it is also about chatting with friends. You go to amusement parks and cinema with groupmates, visit restaurants. Concentrate on the most exciting aspects of university studying because, if there are many friends around you and they give you their support, it would be easier to get involved in learning.

Reading emails and news feed steals a lot of your time. If you spend hours on it, you will have a lack of time for learning and doing more significant activities. That is why you should protect yourself from reading Facebook and other feeds too often.

But not all emails and feeds are bad for students. If you have a mailbox created specifically for studying purposes, it’s OK to use is every day and check new emails. There are also many academic, scientific, and self-development groups for students. They can provide you with the very useful knowledge and tips.

Pay Attention to the Things You Like

During the holidays, you do whatever you like — traveling, attending conferences, listening to music, or watching movies. But you don’t have to stop doing all of this when you return back to the university. The problem of returning is the idea that, if you are a student, you can’t do other things except studying.

If you spend a few hours on the music and sports you like, it will be much easier to do your tasks connected with studying, like writing papers, learning new information, or working on projects. You just have to find the best ratio of working and relaxing hours that doesn’t let you start studying worse or suffer from a lack of rest.

Create the Right Environment

The ease of studying also depends on your environment. If it doesn’t help you in learning, if it makes you feel tired or exhausted, you should build the better environment around yourself. Try redecorating your room, buying a more powerful laptop, or redesigning your weekly schedule. Notice all the things that make you study better and easier, and focus on them, it would help you to build the right environment for reducing your stress when studying.

Focus on the Result

When you think about your objectives, it is easier to do even very difficult tasks, you keep in mind why are you doing all of this, what drives you, and what you will get if you do it well. If it helps you, make a plan with the steps towards your degree or another objective. Follow this plan and look how you are moving from one step to another, becoming closer to the result.
